Out of Surgery!

Just heard word that Anna is now out of surgery.  They have closed her up, leaving a tube for drainage.  There is no major bleeding and her vitals are good. The fluid is pinkish, which is what it is supposed to be.  Pray that the fluid would continue to be pinkish and that her hemoglobin does not go any lower than it is now, which is 9.
We continue to pray God's healing hand upon her.  We know He is able!  In the meantime, Charles and his brother, Dan, have decided to fly out to California to be with their parents right now.  Dan leaves this evening, while Charles is looking for a flight now.  We are so in awe of the love and support of so many people.  We have been blessed with an amazing church body who has rallied around us, even to the extent of purchasing Charles' plane ticket.  To God be all the glory!

  3. Kristen,
I found your blog via facebook through Andi Tuggle...we are praying for Anna and thanking God for His breath of Resurrection Life which restores, rejuvenates and brings rest upon her life and body...praying ministering laborers both in the spirit and the physical realm to be ministering to her and her family.
    God bless you all!
    Love,

  4. What an amazing testimony of true family strength, focused on the power of our Lord and Savior. It is amazing, wonderful, powerful and,...well, sincere --which is what makes ir so encouraging for all of us to witness and to rally on with love and support behind you all.
Thankful for your updates as well as Randi's on FB and will continue to pray for Anna, for Charles and Dan as they travel west and for you and Rebecca as you stay east to pray, to update and to care for your own families.
    In Him,
    Tricia

  5. I knew Anna in high school (found your blog through the UDHS class of '92 Facebook page), and she was a friend to me at a time when I had few friends. I have remembered and thought of her fondly for years. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers!

  6. Thanks for the updates Kirsten. I know Anna from Chelten and UD. I've been sharing this urgent prayer request with all of my praying friends. I've been so encouraged and humbled seeing the body of Christ come together to pray and intercede for her recovery. My Wheaton friends are sharing her post on FB and I've got notes from high school friends telling me how ppl around the world they know are praying for her too. He IS able. Continuing to pray expectantly with out ceasing for His intervention and her complete healing.
